Risk Disclosure

Trading leveraged products is high risk. Please read this before you use our tools or trade.

High-risk warning. Trading foreign exchange (forex) and contracts for difference (CFDs) on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. You could lose some or all of your initial deposit, and you should not deposit money you cannot afford to lose. A significant proportion of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.

Leverage cuts both ways

Leverage lets a small amount of capital control a much larger position. The same mechanism that magnifies gains magnifies losses, and losses can exceed your deposits with some brokers and account types. Understand your broker's margin, stop-out and negative-balance policies before you trade.

No advice and no guarantees

PipGauge provides educational calculators and information only. Nothing on this site is investment, trading, tax, legal or financial advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. We do not and cannot guarantee any outcome. We never claim “guaranteed returns,” “risk-free” trades, or any particular win rate, and you should treat any source that does with extreme caution.

Calculator results are estimates

Our tools perform deterministic arithmetic on the numbers you enter. They do not use live prices, do not account for every fee, slippage, or your broker's exact contract specifications, and may differ from your broker's own figures. Always verify a result against your broker before acting on it.

Regional availability

The information on this site is general and is not directed at residents of the United States or of any jurisdiction where the distribution or use of such information would be contrary to local law. It is your responsibility to know and comply with the rules that apply to you.

Do your own research

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Before trading, consider your objectives, experience and risk appetite, and seek independent advice from a licensed professional if you are in any doubt.
